Monsoon shifts: Standing crops in danger as IMD predicts heavy rainfall

The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast extremely heavy rainfall nationwide for the next five days, following the monsoon trough's shift to its normal position.
Northwest India is expected to experience a reduction in heavy rainfall after two days.
The IMD indicated that extremely heavy rainfall is likely over isolated areas of Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, and West Rajasthan on August 25-26.
