Yatnal camp to name candidate against Vijayendra in New Delhi

Hoping that the BJP high command will not announce BY Vijayendra as the party's state chief unanimously, the camp led by senior BJP leader Basanagouda Patil Yatnal on Friday resolved to announce its own candidate for the election to the post in New Delhi.
The leaders, including Yatnal, former Davanagere MP GM Siddeshwara, former minister Ramesh Jarkiholi, and Harihara MLA BP Harish, met at former minister Kumar Bangarappa's residence, where they chalked out a strategy.
Either Yatnal or Bangarappa may be named as candidates against Vijayendra, if election is declared, sources said.
