Hi-tech maternity hosp will be built in Davanagere: Min

DISTRICT Minister SS Mallikarjun on Sunday said that the old maternity hospital located in the heart of the city will be given a facelift and modernized, so that beneficiaries get hi-tech treatment.
Addressing the public during the review of the work of the old maternity hospital in the city, he said that a plan has been made to give hi-tech touch to the maternity hospital in the old part of the city. The hospital, which is having a capacity of 120 beds, will be extended to 700 to 800 beds and this will be done by acquiring additional lands in the neighbourhood. He said that discussions will be held with the Health Minister to carry out necessary works in collaboration with Bapuji Hospital to ensure good health for all.
