Woman kills alcoholic and abusive husband, buries body in backyard

A woman was arrested on Monday for allegedly killing her abusive alcoholic husband and burying his body in the backyard of their house at Dubikhal village in Sansailo panchayat within Sukinda police limits here.
The crime took place on Thursday and came to light after the accused, 30-year-old Dumari Munda, surrendered before police and confessed to her crime on Sunday night.
Sources said Dumari married Babuli Munda (36), a native of Balasore district, around seven years back. The couple was staying at Dumari's parental house in Dubikhal village. Their relationship soured after Babuli became addicted to alcohol and frequently assaulted Dumari.
