Artificial Intelligence (AI) is rapidly transforming the mobile game development pipeline by reducing time-to-market and enabling smarter, more responsive design systems.

- UMA KANNAN @Bengaluru

"Generative models can now create visual assets, level layouts, and dialogue trees with minimal human input, allowing teams to iterate faster and focus more on creative polish. In-game support powered by AI—such as dynamic tutorials, intelligent hint systems, and smart chat moderation—is enhancing user experience and player retention," Tarun Bisht, Vice President-Technology at MPL (Mobile Premier League), told TNIE.

"Automated testing frameworks that integrate AI can simulate real-world usage at scale, identifying bugs across devices and OS versions much faster than manual QA. Over the next two to three years, we'll see breakthroughs in multi-modal AI systems that can assist developers across text, voice, and image-based workflows, leading to more collaborative and intelligent game development environments," he added.
