Sri Shridevi Charitable Trust, established in 1992 by the distinguished surgeon Dr. M. R. Hulinaykar, the forward-thinking founding chairman, anticipated a growing demand for skilled professionals across diverse fields.

The primary aim was to establish an ideal platform for higher education, enabling dedicated and motivated students to realize their aspirations and equip themselves to face the emerging challenges of the modern world.

The Trust has remained committed to providing high-quality education to students from all sections of society. Since its inception, it has actively initiated and overseen educational institutions across various domains, meticulously addressing societal needs. Operating under its educational initiative, Shridevi Education, the Trust manages a wide range of institutions, including a medical college, an 800-bed multispecialty research hospital, a diagnostic center, a college of engineering, a polytechnic college, a college of nursing, a college of physiotherapy, a college of pharmacy, a college of allied and paramedical sciences, a management college, a degree and postgraduate college, a pre-university college, an ITI, schools from preschool to high school, research centers, skill development centers, and many more.
