Sri Shridevi Charitable Trust, established in 1992 by the distinguished surgeon Dr. M. R. Hulinaykar, the forward-thinking founding chairman, anticipated a growing demand for skilled professionals across diverse fields.

Operating under its educational initiative, Shridevi Education, the Trust manages a wide range of institutions, including a medical college, an 800-bed multispecialty research hospital, a diagnostic center, a college of engineering, a polytechnic college, a college of nursing, a college of physiotherapy, a college of pharmacy, a college of allied and paramedical sciences, a management college, a degree and postgraduate college, a pre-university college, an ITI, schools from preschool to high school, research centers, skill development centers, and many more.
