Dalit Areas Are Like Jewish Ghettos Made By Nazis: Author

Says there is no medicine for the disease of superiority complex and Nazis practiced it

KANNADA author and poet Mogalli Ganesh said the German Nazis set up ghettos and concentration camps where Jews were kept in isolation and more than six lakh were brutally persecuted. The Dalit areas in India are similar to those ghettos where the communities are kept away from the general population and are treated badly, he added.

Speaking on 'People's Movement on the Path to Liberation' at the Bahuroopi National Theatre Festival at Rangayana on Sunday, Ganesh said Nazis burnt over six lakh Jews and used the ash as manure for the trees which they had planted. "There is no medicine for the disease of superiority complex in humans. Nazis who believed that they were superior killed Jews. Cruelty on marginalized populations is still witnessed all over the world. The untouchables all over the world including the Dalits in India and the blacks in Africa never took up weapons in their hands to fight the injustice," he said.
