SPB's die-hard fan aims to sing non-stop for 24 hours to create world record

A 42-year-old singer and die-hard fan of veteran playback singer late Dr. SP Balasubrahmanyam will go on a 24-hour long non-stop singing spree in Mangaluru in a bid to enter the Golden Book of World Records.
Vidwan Yashvanth M.G, a Hindustani vocalist and music director, will sing 240 Kannada songs starting from 3 pm on June 3 until 3 pm on June 4 at Kudmul Ranga Rao Town Hall in the city. While 90 per cent of them will be film songs, the remaining will be bhavageete and devotional songs. He will be accompanied by six musicians: Raj Gopal (Guitar), Deepak Jayasheelan (Keyboard), Vaman K (Drums and Rhythm), Prajwal Acharya (Tabla), Varsha Basrur (Flute) and Sumuk Acharya (Sitar).
