New fire stations sanctioned for Mulki, Kadaba

HOME Minister Dr G Parameshwara on Wednesday said fire stations have been sanctioned for Mulki and Kadaba taluks, and construction work will commence shortly.
Laying the foundation stone for the new Ullal Taluk Fire Station building at Pajir here, Parameshwara said the state government has allocated ₹50 crore for the procurement of new fire-fighting vehicles.
"Due to restrictions on using vehicles older than 15 years, many existing fire engines have been decommissioned. This funding will help replenish the fleet and strengthen our emergency response capabilities," he said.
