THE state government and the dairy development department are committed to making Kerala self-sufficient in milk production, said Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan on Tuesday. He was inaugurating Milma's dairy and milk powder production factory at Moorkkanad in Malappuram.
He said that Covid and natural disasters had posed obstacles in moving forward as planned, but various projects are being implemented to achieve this goal.
