A delegation from Kerala is attending the World Economic Forum's (WEF) annual meeting at Davos, as the CPM-led government continues its efforts to engage with global leaders and multinational giants to attract investment to the state.
This is the first time Kerala is participating in a WEF meet, being held at the Swiss ski resort of Davos.
The WEF, which is into its 55th edition this year, is hosting some of the world's wealthiest and most powerful people from Jan 20 to 24. Industries Minister P Rajeeve, who is leading the state delegation in the five-day event, said Kerala's presence at Davos "reflects the growing confidence of global stakeholders in the state's industrial ecosystem and our commitment to fostering meaningful partnerships for growth".

An Ayurvedic Apothecary
There's a quiet thrill in stepping onto a trail just as the hills wake up. As you begin your trek through Gold Valley in Maharashtra's Lonavala, the clouds play hide-and-seek. A Blue Mormon flutters past, disappearing into the dense canopy. The loud calls of Indian Grey Hornbills invites you deeper into this pocket of the Sahyadri Hills, on Western Ghats.
