Firm up norms before announcement to skip delays

Highlighting the delay in finalisation and necessary approvals for implementation of various schemes, the standing committee on Housing and Urban affairs has recommended that the ministry should complete paperwork and guidelines for any scheme in consultation with stakeholders before any budget announcement.
The panel headed by Lok Sabha MP Magunta Sreenivasulu Reddy made the recommendation after it observed a huge time gap between the announcement and actual execution of a few schemes.
