Elon Musk-led Tesla starts hiring in India

US-based electric vehicle (EV) giant Tesla has initiated hiring in India, posting 13 job openings and reigniting hopes of its long-awaited entry into the Indian car market.
This move follows CEO Elon Musk's meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi during the latter's visit to the United States last week.
As per job listings by Tesla on LinkedIn, at least five roles, including service technicians and advisory positions, are available in Mumbai and Delhi. The remaining openings such as customer engagement managers and delivery operations specialists, are based in Mumbai.
