Forest Dept's Rapid Response Team to Tackle Man-Animal Conflict

THE FOREST department will set up a Rapid Response Team (RRT) to address the rise in incidents of man-animal conflict in Pathanapuram taluk. "We will seek the service of the team to prevent the wild animal attacks. The forest department's RRT is being considered to tackle the increasing wildlife menace in the taluk," said Transport Minister K B Ganeshkumar, who also represents the Pathanapuram constituency. He made the announcement at the Pathanapuram Taluk Development Committee meeting, attended by top officials from the forest department.
