Organs of brain dead youth save six lives

A YOUNG restaurant owner from Kollam, who was declared brain dead following a road accident, ended up saving the lives of six people awaiting organs.
Isaac George, 33, from Bethel Charuvila at Vadacode in Kottarakkara was severely injured when a speeding bike rammed him near his restaurant at Pallimukku in Kottarakkara on September 6. He was rushed to Kottarakkara Government Hospital and then to a private hospital in Thiruvananthapuram. Despite all efforts, Isaac could not be saved and was declared brain dead on September 10.
