Heavy rain: Devotees cross Bavali river on bridge for Kottiyoor ritual

THE early onset of monsoon played spoilsport in the famed 'Elaneer Vayppu' ritual of the Kottiyoor temple as devotees on Tuesday had to take the bridge instead of crossing the Bavali river in the traditional way due to a rise in water levels in the waterbody.
