Roads, railway tracks washed away and houses damaged in 2 villages of border district in J&K
THREE days after a devastating cloudburst hit the remote Chesoti village in Kishtwar, claiming over 60 lives, another cloudburst struck two villages in the border district of Kathua in J&K on Sunday, killing seven people, including a woman and her daughter, as well as a man and his two sons.
According to officials, cloudburst hit village Jode (Jakhole) and Bagra (Janglote) in Kathua at around 5 am. The district has been experiencing heavy rainfall since Saturday evening.
