Sharnbasva varsity to tie up with CILA to enhance English skills

THE Sharnbasva University is in discussion with the internationally acclaimed Cochin International Language Academy (CILA) to improve the knowledge of English to both the faculty teachers as well as students.

A team of senior officers of the University led by Vice Chancellor Prof Anilkumar Bidve, Registrar S G Dollegoudar, Dean Lakshmi Patil Maka and others held detailed discussion with Founder of the CILA Helen Macilwaine and its Director Jaimon George to finalise the proposal which would go a long way in enhancing the knowledge of English among teachers and open up new avenues of high-end job opportunities to the students within the country and abroad.

Macilwaine and George outlined various internationally recognised short duration courses offered in collaboration with the well-known educational institutions like Cambridge University, Trinity College London and others for the students and teachers at various levels.
