THE resistance to the government's proposal to establish a medical college in Vijayapura on Public Private Partnership (PPP) continues in the district as Former Minister and BJP leader, Appu Pattanshetty opposed the move.
Addressing media on Friday, he said that he will oppose any move to set up a medical college of PPP model in the district.
Stating that the district government hospital has all facilities including adequate land for setting up of the government medical college, there is no need for PPP model medical college, he said.
