Devotees inconvenienced due to Ganagapur bandh

Pilgrims had to walk all the way as roads were blocked with thorns
HOLY shrine Ganagapur in Afzalpur taluk observed a bandh on Thursday (May 1) in support of the indefinite dharna launched by JD(S) leader Shivakumar Natikar and his followers which entered the 14th day on Thursday.
Dattatreya temple of Ganagapur attracts many devotees from Maharashtra, Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. But, as the bandh commenced at 6 am, activists closed three roads connecting Ganagapur by placing thorns on the entrance of Ganagapur. This stopped all the vehicles, including buses, cars and autos arriving at Ganagapur near the entrance of Ganagapur town. The devotees had to walk to the Triveni Sangama (Rivers) and the temple.
