Kalaburagi, Bidar, Raichur and Yadgir are the most affected

A majority of the districts of Kalyana Karnataka, especially Kalaburagi, Bidar, Raichur and Yadgir, have been experiencing the heatwave condition for the past 10 days and the temperature in these districts was more than 40 degrees Celsius in the past five days.
From 8 am of April 24 to 8 am of April 25, the temperature in Bidar was 45.8 degrees Celsius, the highest in the state. Kalaburagi stood second with 43.9 degrees Celsius temperature, followed by Raichur and Koppal 43.3 degrees Celsius, respectively. Yadgir recorded 43 degrees Celsius while Vijayanagara recorded 39.9 degrees Celsius.
