July industrial output growth up 3.5% on manufacturing

INDIA'S industrial output, measured by Index of Industrial Production (IIP), grew 3.5% in July 2025, up from 1.5% in June, as per data released by the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation on Thursday.
INDIA'S industrial output, measured by Index of Industrial Production (IIP), grew 3.5% in July 2025, up from 1.5% in June, as per data released by the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation on Thursday. Manufacturing led the recovery with a growth of 5.4%, while electricity rose marginally by 0.6%. Mining contracted sharply by 7.2%.
