After NGT Rap, HDMC Cracks the Whip on All Stakeholders

Civic body given two months to clean up twin cities

IT seems, this time, the Hubballi-Dharwad Municipal Corporation (HDMC) has taken the warning issued by NGT State Level Committee chairman Retired Justice Subhash Adi seriously on turning the Hubballi-Dharwad into clean cities within the next two months.

As the corporation has been asked to submit an affidavit detailing the measures taken in this matter, the civic body has been planning to hold a workshop for all stakeholders.

In a recent meeting with the officials of the corporation and other related government agencies, action taken by the HDMC on waste management had come under severe scrutiny of Justice Adi. Further rapping the officials, he had asked them to take action to make the twin cities clean within the next two months.
