C'garh Cop Killed, 3 Hurt as Naxals Trigger IED Blast

A District Reserve Guard (DRG) jawan was killed and three other personnel were injured when an improvised explosive device (IED) planted by Maoists went off in Chhattisgarh's Bijapur district on Monday.
The IED blast occurred inside the Indravati National Park where a team of DRG was out on an anti-Maoist operation. "The operation was launched on Sunday by the security forces. When the DRG troops were on the move inside the forested terrain of the national park, the blast took place," said a police officer.
