4 of ganja smuggling ring held, 20 kg seized

FOUR persons were arrested in connection with a ganja smuggling operation, and nearly 20.32 kg of the banned substance worth around ₹7 lakh was seized near Valasaiyur Sandhai, on Monday.
The accused have been identified as K Dhanalakshmi (34) of Kaveripuram in Mettur, B Balakannan (39) of Kitchipalayam, R Ramesh (25) of Dhathampatty Colony in Ammapet and V Vaishnavi (24) of Pennagaram in Dharampuri. Veeranam police said the group had been involved in transporting gan
