AROUND 1,400 people attended the 'Nalam Kaakum Stalin' special health camp, which was held in the Thalli tribal block on Saturday.
The camp was conducted at the government higher secondary school at Thalli, in which 17 specialists from departments of orthopaedics, cardiology, neurology, dentistry, ophthalmology, and others took part. As part of the health camp, 60 people received new and reassessment identity cards from the district differently-abled welfare department, and 40 received insurance under the Chief Minister's Comprehensive Health Insurance Scheme. Steps were also taken to provide artificial limbs for six PwDs.
