162 students stranded in inundated Jharkhand school for one night, rescued

According to Rural SP Rishabh Garg, they could only be rescued after the police were informed the next morning. The rescue operation continued for nearly one and a half hours, during which all the children were safely brought down with the help of the villagers. Heavy rain began to batter the city on Saturday, causing the school building to become inundated with rainwater. When the water level rose, the authority shifted all 162 children to the roof of their building for safety.
