Govt to rework Social Welfare Board for greater reach: Parida

DEPUTY chief minister Pravati Parida on Monday discussed the modalities for restructuring the State Social Welfare Board to facilitate greater reach of government welfare programmes.
Addressing a meeting of the Women and Child Development department, Parida said the role of the Social Welfare Board in the development of the state is crucial. "The board will work towards delivering people-centric schemes and programmes to beneficiaries at the grassroots level," she said.
