Students stage protest, seek justice for B'luru rape survivor

In a strong show of solidarity and outrage, girl students in Belagavi staged a protest on Wednesday condemning the recent rape of a student in Bengaluru.

The protest was organised near Kittur Rani Chennamma Circle in Belagavi under the leadership of the All India Democratic Students' Organisation (AIDSO).

Holding placards and raising slogans demanding justice, the students submitted a memorandum to the Deputy Commissioner. They urged swift and strict legal action against the accused and demanded a safer environment for female students in educational institutions.
