THE Travancore Devaswom Board (TDB) has decided to increase the price of the legendary palpayasam—a sweet dish made using milk and rice—which is served to devotees at the Ambalappuzha Sree Krishna Swamy temple.
Come August, the price of the prasadam (consecrated food offering) will be enhanced to ₹260 per litre from ₹160. The quantity of palpayasam prepared will also be increased. Currently, 225 litres is prepared every day, which will be increased to
