Smartphone exports to US fall 58% in 3 months

INDIA'S merchandise exports to the US, its largest market, have gone down by 22.2% between May and August 2025, dropping from $8.8 billion to $6.9 billion, as the steep escalation of American tariffs weighs on shipments, according to a new report by the Global Trade Research Initiative (GTRI.
