Sitharaman says govt committed to Manipur peace

FINANCE Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Tuesday reaffirmed the Centre's commitment to restoring normalcy in Manipur and pushing for the state's economic growth.
Responding to a discussion in the Rajya Sabha on the passage of the Manipur Budget for the current fiscal year and the vote on account for the first six months of 2025-26, she urged Opposition parties to support efforts for peace in Manipur rather than engage in political blame games.
