PWD Aims to Repair 7,000 Potholes in Capital by April 30, Say Officials

The Public Works Department (PWD) has set an April 30 deadline to repair 7,000 potholes across Delhi, following directives issued to senior officials.
The decision stems from a presentation made before the Delhi Council of Ministers on Feb 21, chaired by Chief Minister Rekha Gupta.
The official communication emphasised strict adherence to project timelines. "Timelines were committed for inviting tenders and commencing work. All concerned officers must ensure compliance," it stated. The repairs are being carried out using PWD maintenance vans.
