NPCI meets bank officials, app providers

The National Payments Corporation (NPCI), which runs the unified payments interface, has met bank officials and third-party application providers (TPAPs) on the issue of recent repeated outages of the payment services.
Since March last week, there have been three outages, the latest being last Saturday. There was also an outage due to glitches at banks' end, but the other three were due to technical glitches at the NPCI's payment interface.
