Money-laundering case: HC notice to ED on bail pleas of 2 co-accused

THE Delhi High Court on Friday issued notice to the Enforcement Directorate (ED) on bail pleas filed by Vaibhav Jain and Ankush Jain, co-accused in a money laundering case involving senior AAP leader Satyendar Jain.
Seeking a status report on the case being probed by the central agency, a vacation bench of Justice Vikas Mahajan posted the matter for further hearing on June 26.
As per the ED’s allegations against Satyendar Jain, he was laundering money through four companies allegedly linked to him.
Vaibhav and Ankus were business associates of the former Delhi minister and abetted the commission of the offence, as per the claims of the probing agency.
