'Mars rover' to be displayed during PM's DU visit

A working model of a Mars rover, semiconductors and sustainable bamboo products made by student startups will be part of an exhibition at the Delhi University for PM Narendra Modi's visit on Friday.

Modi will be the chief guest at the closing ceremony of DU centenary celebrations. During his visit, the prime minister will lay the foundation stone of three buildings and release a set of coffee table books, university officials said.
Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan will be the guest of honour at the ceremony. The university has invited several colleges based on the education ministry's National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) to present their best practices' during the exhibition. The DU also urged the colleges to give their students an opportunity to interact with the prime minister.
The eighth edition of the NIRF was announced by Pradhan on June 5.

TN steadily moving to top in agri sector: CM

In 2018, Raipur brothers Akash and Ashish Agrawalla founded ZOFF Foods—short for “Zone of Fresh Foods”—with a bold idea: revive the forgotten aroma of Indian spices using zero-human-touch processing and cool grinding technology. Early skeptics were silenced when a Delhi retailer toured their fully automated, dust-free plant and came away impressed. ZOFF now employs a workforce that is 70 per cent from Chhattisgarh, with senior leaders choosing Raipur over metro cities. Its spices travel far beyond the state, reaching homes across India and even the Middle East. Running a business from a Tier II city, CEO Akash admits, has its hurdles—limited packaging vendors, testing labs, and slower freight timelines—but the benefits are clear: lower costs, access to fresh raw materials, and a community that celebrates their growth as its own.
