IN his plea seeking the recusal of Justice Justice Swarana Kanta Sharma of the Delhi HC from hearing the liquor policy case, former CM Arvind Kejriwal has filed a fresh affidavit flagging a “direct and serious appearance of conflict of interest.”
He has claimed that the judge’s children are empanelled as counsel for the Central government and that they receive case assignments from Solicitor General Tushar Mehta, who is also representing the CBI in the excise policy case.
