INDIA THWARTS PAK ESCALATIONS

AFTER Wednesday night's failed attempt to target Indian military installations, the Pakistan army on Thursday evening, in a major escalation, launched missiles and suicide kamikaze drones in Jammu targeting the airport, which also houses Indian Air Force station, and civilian areas.

However, the missiles and drones were successfully neutralised by Indian air defence.

Pakistan also simultaneously launched heavy mortar and artillery shelling across the Line of Control (LOC) from Kupwara in north Kashmir to Rajouri in the Jammu region.

At around 8.45 pm, they launched a swarm of missiles and kamikaze drones in different areas of Jammu.

Loud explosions were heard across the city. Immediately after the explosions, sirens were sounded alerting people about the attack. Pakistan targetted civilian areas and the Jammu airport, which also houses the IAF station.
