Collision with bike cause of fire, bodies charred beyond recognition

TWENTY people, including two children, were killed when an AC sleeper bus travelling from Hyderabad to Bengaluru caught fire after colliding with a motorcycle on National Highway 44 near Chinnatekuru village in Kurnool district early Friday.
The private bus, belonging to Vemuri Kaveri Travels, burst into flames around 3 am after it hit a motorcycle and dragged it for some distance, generating sparks that ignited its fuel tank.
The biker too died in the incident, taking the toll to 20.
