Both Houses of Parliament were repeatedly adjourned on Thursday as Opposition parties intensified their protest over Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of Bihar electoral rolls, demanding a rollback and immediate discussion on the issue.

The Lok Sabha witnessed a stormy start, with Opposition MPs raising multiple demands, including the rollback of the exercise. Speaker Om Birla's attempt to take up Question Hour was derailed as Opposition members stormed the well of the House, shouting slogans against the SIR.

After two adjournments, the Lok Sabha was adjourned for the day shortly after Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal addressed the House on the US' imposition of a 25% tariff on certain Indian exports.
