Gold, silver prices crash due to liquidity woes, dollar rally

GOLD prices slumped by ₹9,050 to ₹1.36 lakh per 10 grams, while silver tumbled ₹15,000 to ₹2.30 lakh per kg in Delhi on Monday, even as geopolitical uncertainties persist.
Typically, during periods of economic and geopolitical stress, gold and silver—considered safe-haven assets—tend to rally. This time the trend has reversed.
