ED seizes ₹67L cash in Gujarat land scam case

A non-agricultural land scam has rattled Gujarat's bureaucracy after the ED raided top officials' homes in Surendranagar, arrested a deputy mamlatdar with ₹67.50 lakh, seized over 100 files, and exposed a nexus of middlemen, speed money, and misuse of power.
The ED launched raids at the residences of the Surendranagar district collector and other senior officials on Tuesday in connection with the scam running into crores. The search spotlight narrowed on deputy mamlatdar Chandrasinh Mori,
