Says troubled with corruption in ruling dispensation, Sandeshkhali
VETERAN Trinamool Congress leader and MLA Tapas Roy on Monday quit the party and resigned from the West Bengal Assembly expressing displeasure over the party's functioning and Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee's silence following Enforcement Directorate's raid at his residence.
"I do not support the way the Sandeshkhali issue was handled. I am really disappointed with the way the party is functioning. I am fed up with so many allegations of corruption levelled against the party and the government," Roy said.
