AP govt rolls out early childhood development programme

THE State government has launched a pilot project aimed at enhancing early childhood development by integrating modern technology with Anganwadi centres.
Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu inaugurated the initiative in Kuppam on October 4, marking the first phase of the programme in Andhra Pradesh.
The project is a collaboration between the Kuppam Area Development Authority and Care N Grow, a private organisation involved in various early childhood development (ECD) settings, to assess and improve children's physical and mental growth before they turn five. A MoU was signed between the two entities, establishing a structured and scientific approach to child development.
