AERO resigns in protest against 'discrepancies'

AN assistant electoral registration officer (AERO) of Bengal's Howrah district has resigned in protest against the process related to logical discrepancies found in enumeration forms (EFs) of voters during the SIR.
AERO Mousumi Sarkar, a block development officer (BDO), alleged that the process is a ploy to disenfranchise a large section of marginalised people.
