PUNJAB Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, who met his incarcerated Delhi counterpart and AAP supremo Arvind Kejriwal in Tihar jail on Tuesday, said his party convener has asked all the AAP leaders to attend programmes of the INDIA bloc, wherever they are, and save the Constitution and democracy by defeating the BJP.
-
"He told me that wherever there is a programme of the INDIA bloc partners, be it in Assam, Gujarat, Maharashtra, UP or Bihar, AAP leaders must be present. He said this election is not an election to be won or lost, it is an election to save the Constitution and democracy," Mann told the press after coming out of Tihar Jail.
The Punjab Chief Minister arrived at the high-security prison at 12.30 p.m. and left the premises around 1.10 p.m.
