₹100 cr drug syndicate run by foreigners busted, 5 held

DELHI Police has busted a drug syndicate run by African nationals, including the arrest of the mastermind and five associates.
Drugs worth ₹100 crore were recovered during the operation. The gang was operating using a call centre-style model and facilitated food delivery application-style deliveries via local African nationals, an official said on Friday.
The network was run by a West Africa-based drug kingpin, Callistus, alias Kalis. The syndicate has its presence in multiple nations, including Malaysia, New Zealand, Australia, Japan, and the United Kingdom. They used encrypted WhatsApp channels, forged documents, and Indian-based foreign nationals for last-mile drug deliveries, an official further said.
