THE online auction of Durban businesswoman Shauwn Mkhize’s luxury assets including expensive handbags closed on Wednesday, with several of the items being sold.
Auction house Bidders Choice opened bids for luxury handbags and assets on October 10 and closed on October 15.
Bids on the luxury handbags at first started slow but with time interest grew. The assets are up for auction following alegal showdown with the SA Revenue Service which seized luxury items over unpaid taxes.
All the luxury items were authenticated before they went on sale.
There are 18 designer items on the auction list, and by the close of the auction all the luxury handbags and luggage bags had been bid on.
The luxury items bids are currently pending finalisation on Bidders Choice
