HE EARNED AN EMMY NOD FOR TED LASSO NOW TOHEEB JIMOH IS BRINGING HIS NICE GUY CHARM TO INDUSTRY.
Toheeb limoh was given one simple direction from the show's creators when he joined the cast of Industry season four as playful finance bro Kwabena Bannerman. "They just said: 'Make him less of a douche," Jimoh remembers. In the world of Industry, this is a pretty atypical request. The hit HBO and BBC show sits on the Succession and Game of Thrones end of the spectrum when it comes to the likeability of its characters.
But maybe Jimoh is just innately likeable.
Before Industry, the 28-year-old actor was best known for playing nice Sam Obisanya in nice Ted Lasso for which he earned an Emmy nomination. The show's focus on men's mental health even landed him a trip to the White House to meet Joe Biden.
