Volunteering to help wildlife led Liam to his dream job

A MAN with a passion for seabirds has landed a job in conservation thanks to his dedication to volunteering.
Liam Johnson, 24, who lives in Warkworth, began volunteering with the Northumberland Coast National Landscape’s Conservation Team in 2024 because of his interest in birds.
He joined a group of around 200 volunteers who carry out tasks along the county's coast-line, such as beach cleaning, habitat management and wildlife surveying.
